Stittsville

Stittsville is a community on the western edge of the City of Ottawa, southwest of Kanata. It’s where rural Ottawa meets suburban Ottawa, and where the old blends with the new. The village was named after the first postmaster, Jackson Stitt in 1850. Today, Stittsville is home to many families, natural areas, and a variety of shops and businesses. Stittsville is currently experiencing a period of rapid growth. Whether walking or cycling along the Trans Canada trail or visiting one of the local shops, Stittsville has something for everyone.
