The Queenswood Heights neighbourhood is just south of St. Joseph Boulevard (and the Place d’Orleans Shopping Centre) and north of Innes Road to the south, with Tenth Line Road to the east. Its western border is the parkland that forms the Bilberry Creek Trail Orleans Queenswood Heights is a new neighbourhood: the majority of homes (59%) were built between 1981 and 1990. Another 23% were built between 1971 and 1980. Only 7% were built between 1990 and 2006 and 9% were built before 1970. By 2006, Orleans Queenswood Heights had 4,520 dwellings: 79% of these were single detached, 3.3% are semi-detached, 16% are row houses, close to 1% are apartment duplexes, and close to 1% were apartments less than 5 stories. The great majority 97% of residents owned, while 2.9% of residents rented their homes. here are also several nature trails and paths throughout the area including the Bilberry Creek Trail and the Princess Louise Trail through which Taylor Creek runs and which results in a beautiful waterfall near St. Joseph Boulevard.
