The southern part of Old Ottawa East and Eastern part of Old Ottawa South is sometimes referred to as Rideau Gardens. It is nestled between the Rideau Canal to its north, and the Rideau River to the south, Rideau Gardens is built along the large Windsor Park. Most homes are built on large lots, and like Ottawa South and East, are full of beautiful executive homes, many of which are cottage style or grand heritage home.
